Jute Wrapped Wine Bottles
I love these jute wrapped wine bottles made by a friend…
we used them this past weekend for a wedding reception,
massed together on coffee tables filled with locally grown dahlias!
The natural jute mixed with the bold colors made a stunning statement!
The Clay Pot = Festive
I have started a series I’m calling
“The Clay Pot equals…”
to share some of the many different
aspects of The Clay Pot.
Featured here is a Rehearsal Dinner
we recently did in Chattanooga, TN
at The Hunter Museum of Art.
“Blackberry Summer Wedding”
Using a palette of whites and blackberry plums and greens
we created this seasonal summer wedding this past weekend.
The reception was held at The Hunter Museum of Art
in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Since the venue does not allow any candles
we filled our hanging votives
with blackberries and hung them from
mossed covered branches…cool effect!
The blackberry boutonnieres coordinated
with the bridesmaid’s bouquets of
white hydrangeas dahlias,
and plum scabiosa and dahlias.
“A Wedding in May”
Nestled in the countryside of North Georgia,
The DeBarge Vineyards was the perfect setting
for a May wedding we did last weekend.
Using a simple mix of flowers just added to the charm.
We used different shades of dahlias, ranunculus and hydrangeas.
Loved how the pops of colors added a little “pow” to the warm tones of the venue…
“Wedding on the Mountain”
Here are a few “details” from a wedding we did Saturday
on Signal Mountain…
We used a soft palette of succulents, hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus and roses…
simply, tied with jute.
A few samples of wedding items styled by
The Clay Pot.
We are so fortunate to have worked on
such a variety of weddings this past year.
Looking back, I really notice the different looks
each wedding has…and that’s what makes them
so much fun to create!

The Clay Pot
We used a vintage wheelbarrow
to display escort cards for a
recent rehearsal dinner.
We topped the wheelbarrow off
with plush mood moss and glued
the cards to birch sticks…
the perfect color for brides.
I used white hydrangeas and
soft shades of blush roses to create
these simple & elegant arrangements.
Here are some recent bouquets
we made for a wedding….I really like the bold,
but natural color combination we used…
some of my favorite colors.
