Here’s the Dirt…from The Clay Pot…Fall Wedding

Fabulous Fall Wedding at
The Bright School
The Bright School in Chattanooga, Tennessee provided the beautiful backdrop for the wedding of Katherine Roberts and Rig Burger on Saturday, September 4th. The weather was perfect for this small outdoor wedding. What a great location to celebrate the wedding of this fun couple!
Thank you Katherine and Rig from everyone at The Clay Pot!

Here’s the Dirt…NYC Florist

NYC Florist
One of my favorite things to do when traveling in to check out other florist. How cool is this neon “FLORIST” sign mixed in with all the fire escapes and scaffolding. This shop was located in The Meatpacking District
of New York City.
I could walk for days looking at all the cool buildings in Manhattan.
When I saw this sign, I had to take a photo.

Here’s the Dirt…NYC Flower Market

Flower Market of New York City
Every time I visit NYC, I make sure I stop by New York City’s Flower Market.
I take the subway to 28th Street Station.
Walk down West 28th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues and you are right in the middle of the flower market. The sidewalks on both sides of the street are full of billowing fragrance and you’re greeted with flowers in every color of the spectrum; bulbs, topiaries, orchids, grasses and cut flowers you could only imagine. Walk into one of the shops that line the street and you will see endless varieties of cut flowers. Shop after shop, there are racks stacked to the ceiling with beautiful fresh flowers.
Go early, they open at 4:00 am and close at noon each day.

Here’s the Dirt…Fishing Dock at "The Jumper Cabin"

Fishing Dock
at “The Jumper Cabin”
This is a photograph I took this past weekend of the “fishing dock” at our cabin. Pretty relaxing isn’t it? Many fish have been caught from this dock. Grab you a chair and start fishing. There is also a swimming dock. We are renting our cabin for nightly-weekly rentals. Please see previous post for rates or call me, Joe Jumper, at 423.265.2007.

Here’s the Dirt…Table 2 in Chattanooga

Table 2
Table 2 in Chattanooga has a great facility for rehearsal dinners. These photos are from the “Schrader Rehearsal Dinner” The Clay Pot recently did.
The room is cozy and I love the warm colors
used in the decor. An outside patio
is also available for cocktails before diner.
Neat place!

Here’s the Dirt…"King Street", Charleston, SC

“King Street”
Charleston, SC
c. 1910
If you’ve ever been shopping on “King Street” in Charleston, SC you know what a wonderful place it is to shop. All the neat buildings have so much character.
I thought this photography was very interesting showing what King Street looked like in 1910.
The people may be different now, but the buildings are still the same. Pretty neat!

Here’s the Dirt…Bikes of Charleston

Bikes of Charleston,
by Joe Jumper

Charleston, South Carolina. What a wonderful city! This was my first trip to Charleston. We had a great time walking around the historic district and seeing all incredible homes and buildings. The cobblestone streets made you feel like you were walking in the same footsteps as someone from 100 years ago.

I was attending a fabulous wedding at the time I took this photograph. It is available at The Clay Pot.
