Here’s the Dirt…Handmade Easter Baskets by The Clay Pot

Handmade Easter Baskets
by
The Clay Pot
It was so much fun making these handmade…
and I might add…organic looking
Easter Baskets.
They are so simple to make.
Take any kind of paper…
(we used white packing material)
Cut or rip the paper into strips.
Mix equal parts basic school glue and water.
Cover a deep salad or cereal bowl complely with cellophane.
Dip you paper strips in the glue/water mixture and lay strips over bowl.
Continue until your bowl is completely covered.
Let dry for 24 hours…
Carefully, lift paper basket off of bowl…separating you paper from you cellophane.
Add grass and eggs!
Display and enjoy!

Here’s the Dirt…"It’s hip to be square…"

I love these square baskets
filled with simple flowers.
I used green “Hypernicum” berries,
salmon “Quince”, “Geraldine Roses”,
“Trick” and “Mood Moss” to create these
wonderful mini arrangements.
The natural baskets
come in a 4×4, 5×5 and a 6×6 square size
and are available in three colors…neat!

Here’s the Dirt…"Carnival Ticket Flowers"

“Carnival Ticket Flowers”
These are so fun to make!
I made these yesterday to hang on
bare branches in my shop.
All you need are carnival tickets, a glue gun,
buttons and some kind of hook.
If you want to make your “flowers”
have stems simply glue some sort of branch
or stick to the back and hide
with moss.
Carnival Ticket Flowers…
quirky and cute!

Here’s the Dirt…"Wacky Photo Shoot!"

“Wacky Photo Shoot”
at
The Clay Pot!
These photos show how much fun, and simple, a photo shoot can be!
I took these photos at our recent Spring Open House.
I gathered an assortment of frames, a few props and
grabbed my camera.
Everyone enjoyed hamming it up for the photos.
The guests get a token gift, a copy of their own photo via email.
I will also be sending a copy of all the photos to the local
paper for added exposure.
This is a easy, fun idea for you to try
at your next open house or party.
Your guests will love it!

Here’s the Dirt…Hyacinths in Houndstooth

“Hyacinths in Houndstooth”
These are the perfect token gift for spring.
Hyacinths are one of my favorite flowers.
These bulbs are planted in these adorable houndstooth cans.
The blue flower mixed with the brown and white houndstooth
is the perfect color combination.
