Here’s the Dirt…"Yarn Ball Holiday Wreaths" by The Clay Pot

Yarn Ball Wreaths
We created these yarn ball wreaths
for the lobby of the
Volunteer Building in Chattanooga, TN.
We were given large artificial wreaths
to work with for our base.
To go with the sleek remodeled look of
the interiors, designed by Rodney Simmons
of REVIVAL, I knew I wanted to keep them
clean and simple.
We added fresh cedar and wrapped styrofoam balls
with different muted shades of yarn.
Love how using just these two simple elements,
made the simple artificial wreaths quite stunning!

Here’s the Dirt…"Our Holiday Ladies"

“Our Holiday Ladies”
We created these “holiday ladies” for
a new boutique’s Holiday Open House in Chattanooga, TN.
“K” a Boutique by Katherine Roberts
We used chicken wire for the base,
cedar for the skirts and
burlap for the blouses…
accessorized with ribbons…
and a carnival ticket brooch.
Can’t wait to see them in her holiday windows!

Here’s the Dirt…"Real Easter Grass" at The Clay Pot

“Real Easter Grass”

How would you like some

“real” grass for Easter?

Bring in your containers
(any size)
and we’ll fix them up,
ready to water and grow!
A cool activity for your kids!
It takes about 7-10 days
to have plush grass like this.

Easter Eggs…here I come!

Here’s the Dirt…"Pedestal Pots" at The Clay Pot

The perfect gift for the holidays…
“Pedestal Pots”.
I contacted Chattanooga artisan Shane Wood
to create these cool containers for me.
She used metal pots I had
to create these unique containers.
Each piece has it’s own quirky shape,
height and base.
They are perfect grouped together
or can easily stand on their own.
What a great way to show off flowers!

Here’s the Dirt…"Pinecone Topiaries"…Natural Beauty for the Holidays

Natural Beauty
at
The Clay Pot.

Bring the outdoors inside with

these wonderful pinecone topiaries
mounted in handmade pots.
They would look great on a mantle,
sideboard or dining room table
mixed with our burlap vases and votives.
Each topiary measures about 18′ high.
