AND THE WINNER IS…
One of my favorite gifts was from my sister. A small decorative silver dish with a lid and inside were 30 slips of paper with reasons why she admired/loved me – one for each day for a month. She gave this to me years ago and I still have all the slips of paper in the dish. Every once in a while I will pull a few of them to read when I am having a bad day :)!
I would like to thank everyone who submitted their wonderful ideas
for “their favorite inexpensive Holiday Gift Idea”.
It was a very difficult decision to make, but I choose BrookeS’s submission.
Everyone loves hearing that they are admired/loved by someone else.
You could use any kind of container and it not cost a thing,
but hearing that you are admired/loved by someone is a gift
you will cherish forever.
BrookeS is the winner of 2 “Literature Candles“
compliments of The Clay Pot.
Make sure you check out all the wonderful ideas
submitted at “Literature Candles Giveaway“.
Thanks again for everyone participating.

YIPPEE! I am so excited 🙂 Gifts that come from the heart are really the best – whether they cost anythign or not! I have shared this idea with many people – one mom told her elementary age son about it and they decided to do a variation…”A week of why I think you are a great teacher!” for his teacher gift this year
