According to a recent article in New York Magazine, many of the students in PS22 come from struggling families. (Nearly 70 percent qualify for lunch assistance.) 37 year old chorus director Gregg Breinberg, better known as Mr. B, says “there are some kids who come from places where I wish I could just physically move them somewhere else. Horrible backgrounds.”

These talented 5th graders prove how the power of music can and does inspire others. Enjoy!
