This is a recipe passed down from my Great Uncle Billy Coile. Billy was quite the character. He lived in Winterville, Georgia. His wit and one liners were priceless. Billy create this barbecue sauce. Though he was in a wheelchair for many years, it never limited his ability to always be the life of a party.
Billy Coile’s Barbecue Sauce
1 stick margarine, bring to boil and simmer. Add one cup vinegar and return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes. Salt to taste. Add black pepper until you’re ashamed, then add more! Baste chicken pieces and cook slowly on grill, continue basting until done.
