1 cup butter
1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1-1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
1-1/2 T lemon juice
Cream 1 cup butter; gradually add 1/3 cup powdered sugar, beating well. Add flour and cornstarch; mix well.
Cover and chill 1 hour. Shape dough into 1″ balls; lightly coat each with pecans. Flatten each cookie with the bottom of a glass which had been lightly dipped in flour. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
Combine 1-1/2 cups sifted powder sugar, 1-1/2 tsp. butter, and lemon juice; mix well until smooth. Spread on cookies. Yield; 30 cookies. Enjoy!
